Faculty Training and Support: What Are Your Preferences?
Hi,
I am an instructional designer at University of Delaware. We are about to switch from WebCT 4.1 to Sakai, and we have a lot of faculty members to train and support for the migration process to be successful.
I wanted to ask you all what are the most effective training and support strategies to get the attention of faculty in a research institution like mine, in your sense (outside of one-on-one consultations, which we will be offering).
Complete user manuals, one page job aids, training videos, audio files, screencasts, in-class training... Let me know your preferences or what you think your colleagues would prefer.
