Higher-education administrators may not realize it, but they have one of “7 Great Careers for 2007,” according to a columnist on the Kiplinger Web site. Columnist, Marty Nemko, writes that higher-education administration provides “an ideal combination of money, status, sense of fulfillment, and good quality of life.” It also offers “good job-market prospects for the foreseeable future” because of rising enrollment. Mr. Nemko singles out student-affairs administration as “perhaps the most fun niche” of all.
