Will U. S. Airline Consolidation Help the Industry?
One of our professors recently wrote a blog post on why recent talks of airline mergers spell bad news for consumers.
The gist of his argument is that the newly merged airlines will have difficulty increasing fares sufficiently to overcome the added bureaucracy and its cost inefficiencies.
